Pet's Story or Bio
My Ivy, the little love nugget with her big, melty brown eyes has seen horrors I don’t want to imagine. This sweet creature was born into a puppy mill and then was a puppy mill mother herself. She was cast aside when she aged out and sent to an auction, I cringe to think of her fear. THEN she was rescued and named Ivy as she was saved in the winter months from a mill in Indiana.

When we got her, she was afraid of a kiss, she was afraid of the sound of a kiss. In her eyes, I see love, comfort, joy and relief, although, she still worries and keeps an eye on everything. She is very attached to me and is a champion snuggler— touching, happy to be cradled, tucked deep into the blankets or always by my side.

She came to us at about 7-8 years old, she was like a puppy (with no order), but smart as she is “older.” She learned to sit for treats quickly, but it took her almost two years to learn to play with toys. She is so sweet and gentle, my heart bursts to see her so saved and loved. She is a rescue miracle—her coat has grown in silky and feathery, her face is whitened, she is adorable and totally adored.
