Love at first sight? Not even close! 🤣 As the Event Assistant at Darbster, I honestly couldn’t wait for her to find a home, because she was (more than) kind of annoying. Then she found a home… and then another… and then another… And after her third return to the rescue, I realized she was really starting to grow on me. I promised her that if she was still there on her 1-year anniversary of coming to the rescue, I’d take her home. A week before her 1-year mark, she was adopted (for the fourth time). I was actually kind of bummed, to be honest. Then, a week later, she came back (ON her anniversary). That was my sign. And I can’t even fathom life without her. She is beyond incredible. This picture was taken the day I officially fell in love with my bestie.
