Tell Us About the Time You Knew It Was Love at First Sight...
In 2023 my husband and I rescued Joy and her 4 babies from a supermarket parking lot. We fostered the family and worked with a local shelter to put the entire family up for adoption. I named the mother Joy because I felt so happy to save 5 lives that day. When the kittens were old enough we delivered the family to the shelter to find good homes for all of them. 3 days later the shelter called and said I had to pick Joy back up because she was so unfriendly. Joy lives with us now. She used to run the other way whenever I walked by her. This year she turned over a new leaf. She no longer runs from me and she now loves to be petted. We are so happy Joy and Toby Girl are permanent members of our family.
