Tell Us About the Time You Knew It Was Love at First Sight...
Lily (pre-adoption name 'Nina') was very frightened, quiet and shy when we met, and would only look at the back wall in her kennel. But when I put my hand next to her face, she gave me a little snuggle and I knew we'd get along fine together. After bringing her home, it took some time for her to understand she was safe, and at first she spent most of her time hiding under the bed. Now she happily plays with her toys, cuddles in blankets and watches the world from her window seat (especially keeping an eye on one favorite squirrel). She brings me joy every day!
