Pet's Story
Gemma was a "pound puppy" when we found her at Hillsborough County Animal Services. She was listed at found in a field. She had breast tumors and not spayed. HCAS had her listed as 10 years old; which I could tell looking at her that she was NOT that old. NO ONE had looked at adopting her either due to age or tumors I'm not sure. I fell in love with her from the start. She was not so sure, but she took to my boyfriend, Steve, right away. Steve had his reservation based on the age listed and the tumors too; but I wanted her. SO, 2 1/2 years later, Steve has a wonderful, playful, "pound puppy".
