Pet's Story
At the age of 10, PeeWee was brought to animal control because she had blood in her stool and the owner was "tired of dealing with her." When the staffed indicated they would not put her down, the owner abandoned her on site and Cauzican Care Animal Rescue took her and had her de-wormed, which solved the bleeding. She bonded with Bubba, who became her big brother, protector, pillow for sleeping, and partial eyes and ears. She's deaf and blind on her right side, and has a broken tail, but we think she's perfect. She too was a transport failure, along with Bubba.
