Pet's Story
Copper is our 13 year old longhair. He came to us as an unplanned adoption. He is the best thing ever! He is special needs but that does not slow him down. His favorite treat is frozen broccoli. He will go to the freezer and scratch it till you give in to those adorable eyes. He lives for belly rubs and food....but what Doxie doesn't.
Penny was our second unplanned adoption. She was a puppy mill pup and had pneumonia, ear mites and a knee with a birth defect. She has had surgeries on her knee and is doing quite well. She relies on Copper to teach her what to do with new toys and how to do new tricks. We joke that she is dumber than a bag of rocks but she is a great hunter. In all honesty, she is probably just far to intelligent to do regular dog stuff.
