Pet's Story
Daisy was rescued with 3 other siblings from a rural shelter. When I met up with DARE's volunteer transporter to get the doxies, it was love at first sight. All the doxies were absolutely beautiful. I had worked with the shelter co-ordinator to pull the doxies. The next week I received a call that the shelter had 4 more doxies. I am happy to say they all were adopted very quickly. Daisy Duke is an awesome mellow, loving girl. Daisy and I decided to go to therapy dog training to see if we would qualify. I am pleased to say that Daisy did a wonderful job and passed the class. She is a certified therapy dog and we go to many places to visit folks who need a little love and comfort.
