Before knowing about rescue and DARE, I had lost my dachshund, Baby to a snake bite in 1999. I was devastated and went to a breeder and saw this little girl just 6 weeks old with a herniated navel and knew that she needed to be rescued. She has been a wonderful little girl for 16 years and I hope she is with me several more.
