We adopted 2 year old Fleur (formerly Nina) in March 2024. Her first owner was an elderly woman who passed away.
Her family did not want Fleur so the little dog was sent to a high kill shelter in West Virginia. That is when DAWGS came to the rescue and Fleur ended up being trained by inmates at Mahanoy State Correctional Institution. We met her and she jumped right into our laps after some tasty treats. We fell in love and took her home that day. She is an absolute joy and so well trained! She puts a smile on our faces every day with her antics. Thank you to DAWGS and the trainers for saving Fleur and melting our hearts!
