My husband and I adopted Oakley from the Dawgs Prison Program in 2018, he was rescued after a devastating hurricane hit Florida. It was an instant connection from the moment we saw his photo posted on their Instagram. Oakley is truthfully the best dog we could have ever asked for, so relaxed and human-like it’s actually comical. He has the sweetest personality and these amber eyes that tell a story. When he looks at you, I feel like he’s looking directly into your soul and knows exactly how you feel or what your thinking. Oakley is a lover of car rides, fruits, vegetables (esp cucumber), chasing squirrels, ice cubes and just snuggling on the couch.
