Hi, I’m Shadow—1½ years young.

I’m a proud rescue myself adopted by a sweet young human at the Sweet Potato Festival. I’m pretty easy going and just enjoy my adopted life.

My human likes to bring home these "foster dogs." And bless their confused little tails… most of them have no idea how to “dog.” That’s where I come in. I’m like the welcome committee, life coach, and personal trainer all in one furry package. I show them how it’s done and they follow my lead. I even share my toys and bones—yes, MY bones. I deserve a medal for that alone.

Also, I’m a black dog. Yep. Did you know black dogs like me are the most overlooked at shelters? It’s true— they often get passed over many times never finding a home.
