Your Pet's Story or Bio
Annabelle—aka The Foo, Foofy, Little Turd, or Bad Little Dog (always said with love)—was my heart dog. She came home with me at six weeks old and was my constant companion for over 15 years. She was a farm dog, an apartment dog, my travel companion, you name it!

The Foo was also shelter regular at whichever shelter I worked at, coming to work with me each day when she was younger, charming everyone and shamelessly harassing them for treats. People still ask about her, like she was a tiny, furry celebrity.

She “worked,” too—helping shy dogs open up, let me know which dogs weren't great with other dogs, tattling on rude humans who didn’t share snacks (“How very dare they!”), and giving serious side-eye to any nonsense. She loved going to the shelter… though I suspect it was mostly for the pup cups on the ride home.
