Your Pet's Story or Bio
Hey! My name is Mabel, but my friends call me Mabes. I’m two years old. I spent my first 10 months of life roaming the Florence/ Darlington area. Until I was picked up by a kind stranger and brought to the Florence humane Society. The transition was pretty scary for me. I wasn’t sure what those tall hairless animals ( humans) wanted from me. But during my 8 month stay I learned to trust some of them. The ones with the funny hair on their chins not so much. One day, they put a bandana on me, I’m still learning to read but I think it said “ abop me”? Either way we ended up at a pet store with some other dogs that smelled familiar. That’s where I met my mom! She had been looking to adopt a friend, she took one look at me and knew we were meant to be! She took me home that day too! That was 4 months ago. I now spend my days with her at work at Prim & Pawper Grooming. I let the other dogs know not to be scared like I used to be- I teach them how to be brave!
