Pet’s Story or Bio
Leo showed up one day while I was bartending at Lucky 13 last April. My coworkers quickly started telling me he had adopted me because after the first couple of days he would show up five minutes after I would, every shift. He had what I thought were ear mites, which ended up being just terrible ear infections in both ears. I couldnt stand every person trying to give him the love and affection he deserved and watching him wince and cry every time someone touched his ears. He also had (and still has) a very prominent 1/2 inch scar that goes all the way around his neck. He had to have been tied to a tree for some time. Perhaps he was left alone tied up and someone noticed he'd been dumped and cut him loose, perhaps he got loose himself. We'll never know.

Knowing he may have a neglectful owner somewhere, after two weeks of us "working" together and giving him scrap bbq, I lured him into my Jeep with some bacon and took him home one night. Off to the vet first thing the next morning to get him ear drops to kill the infection. I bathed him, fed him, clipped his nails, gave him flea and tick treatment, and let him sleep safe and cozy for one more night before I brought him back to Lucky 13 and let him go. I figured if he had a home he'd go back atleast a little more comfortable if his owners couldn't afford to take care of him.

He left for about an hour, and eventually came back and slept on the patio for the rest of my shift. (of course it was the longest hour of my life and I was desperately hoping he would return)

I took him home officially MY boy that night. :D

Since that day hes never left my side. He is the best dog I've ever had, and every day I thank the universe for sending him to me, my best friend :)
