Pet’s Story or Bio
My foster parents found me in front of Villa Cofresi in 2002 and decided to take me in until I got adopted. I was invited to a really fun St. Patricks Party sponsored by ARF of Rincon in 2003. I wasn't really sure if anyone would like me, but when I saw Marcus and Emily I decided I had to be apart of their family. Luckily they agreed!!! They named me Hopkins after the actor Anthony Hopkins because I can be very regal and handsome (aww shucks). They already had a dog named Myles who was a 9 year old Beagle mutt and had also been adopted in Pennsylvania. He said I had a lot of energy and was a bit too affectionate for his taste, but thought everyone would love me. I am now an old man, living in Rincon at the ripe old age of 14. Myles passed away a few years ago and I was enjoying having my parents all to myself, but fate intervened last year. I now have a new hysterical, fun loving, energetic 7 year old Chihuahua brother named Bug who just showed up one day at the house and everyone decided (including me) that he would be a great addition to the family. We love our walks every morning and we make people laugh and smile when they see us. He is 5 lbs and I am 50 lbs. Life is grand.
