Pet’s Story or Bio
Lil' mama was dropped off at our apartment last year (Feb 2016) as a kitten herself and she was pregnant with a litter of 5 kittens. She had the litter and then had a litter of 7 more kittens in July. In November she had another litter of 5 more kittens and then we intervened with help from Defensa to have her spayed. The word was spread and a huge effort made to get all of the kittens from the Nov litter adopted and 4 of them quickly found homes.

Sueña was the last kitten and after seeing all of her brothers and sisters get chosen she had a bit of a breakdown when she was the last one left and ran under the house and hid for an entire day and a half without a single sound. Eventually she came up to our door wet (it had been raining) and very hungry and we decided she was meant to be ours.

Her and her mother became best friends and now we are also adopting Lil' Mama to help her enjoy her retirement from making babies!

They now both spend their days napping (a lot), eating (a lot) and earning their keep chasing mice, rats and iguanas as security guards for the house.
