Doberman's Story or Bio
Onyx was born in February of 2022. We adopted Onyx at 18mos old. I stumbled across a photo of a Doberman as I was scrolling FB in July of 2023. I had no plans of getting another dog yet as I had just put 2 of my dogs down 6months apart but something in my heart knew I needed him & he needed me. I contacted DVDPA interested. God knew it was time and he placed Onyx in my view that day for a reason. Onyx had already been with 2 other family's no fault of his own. He had such a lost and longing for love look. He walked into our house and laid down with his head on my lap in his new dog bed, and feel asleep. As if he knew he was finally home. Onyx now loves to creep up ever so slowly on the cows in his back yard and bark them away. He loves & protects his little 9yro human and enjoys long hikes through the mountains and under waterfalls with us. He is so loyal to us. He loves laying his head on my lap to fall asleep and snore his usual snore. Sir Onyx is what we call him, because he stands, sits & lays so tall, straight & very proper with his chest out with such confidence of being loved unconditionally. We love him SO much. I'm grateful I found DVDPA! Onyx is home forever! Onyx Thanks you.
