Charley is the definition of a survivor wrapped in a big, goofy Doberman body. His early life was rough—kept in a garage, underfed, and neglected—but he never lost his gentle heart.

Charley was just diagnosed with Wobbler’s disease, a devastating condition that robs many Dobermans of their mobility. He recently underwent cervical spine surgery with a titanium implant—a battle scar that now makes him the face of every family who’s ever had to fight Wobbler’s. Charley isn’t just a survivor, he’s the poster pup for resilience, courage, and love in the middle of the fight.

Charley is a gentleman—respectful of Olive (a.k.a. Miss Bossy Pants), John’s bud bonding on their daily patrols,, and always ready for burger night or a Jeep ride with the wind in his jowls.

Goofy, loyal, and all heart—Charley is more than our dog. He’s a fighter, a symbol, and proof that even in the hardest battles, love carries you through.
