Pet's Story or Bio
Nilla Bean was born March 5th with cerebral hypoplasia and spinal and sternum deformities. She was going to be PTS because she couldn't walk. My local vet reached out and asked if I would take her. I have other special needs animals. I said yes and that is where our journey began. We have been together a little over a month now. Nilla Bean could hardly move her legs and couldn't sit up. We have been doing daily water therapy and excerises, stretches and massages. Nilla Bean can now hop around and she moves her legs like a champ. Her back legs are not as strong and they curl under a little bit. I don't know if she will ever truly walk but we sure hope so. She is full of spunk and personality. The day this picture was taken it was the first week we had her. She just started being able to sit up without falling over. We took a picnic that day and found 32 four leaf clovers. Update 07/28/20 Nilla Bean is taking steps and walking! Hard work and excerises are paying off! We still have a lot of work ahead of us but she has accomplished so much!
