Pet's Story or Bio
Sasha has a rare disorder called Mucopolysaccharidosis. Symptoms include skeletal abnormalities, stunted growth, enlarged liver and corneal clouding to name a few. There is no cure for MPS and with that is a shortened life expectancy so lots of love and care is of the utmost importance.
Before Sasha was adopted, his soon to be new mom, Melissa, had an adorable cat named Lux. Lux also had MPS but sadly he passed away March 2022. Melissa knew she had so much love to offer special needs animals so she decided to adopt Sasha. A few months later, on June 30th Sasha made the trek from Italy to Canada. Sasha has been at his new home for over a year now, living life with his fur siblings!
