That sweet silly gray girl laying on top of her pal Willie (making sure she got share of the sun) is my Isis. We adopted her at 1 from a local shelter and within days became very sick. That is when we got the news that she was diabetic. Isis was a calm loving patient while this mom learned how test her levels and give her insulin! Isis remained insulin dependent until she left us 9 years later just a couple of weeks after her old pal Willie passed. I'm think she was in a hurry to be by his side in a warm sunny spot.
