Freddie was my first diabetic kitty. She came to my door, literally when i was in college via a neighborhood kid who said she found her in a snowbank and her mom wouldn't let her keep her. I won't tell you what year that was, but when Freddie was around 16 she developed diabetes. The treatments were not so good back then but she went several more years being in charge of my lap. i was not allowed to sit without her presence. Miss you Freddie girl!
