Java (GA) lived with diabetes for about 3 years. Shortly after his initial diagnosis and with the help of FDMB he went off the juice but after a year and a half was thrown back in and was on insulin for the rest of his life. He was very smart and could tell time. He had to go to his grandma's for his shots 2 days out of the week due to my schedule. I dropped him off Tuesday afternoon and picked him up Wednesday night at midnight. About 10 PM on Wednesday he would jump up on the bed and wait at attention until I got there. When he heard me he would come running and then jump in his carrier to go home. I lost him to pancreatic cancer in October of 2013. He was a brave kitty and I miss him everyday.
