My Lorelei who suffered from diabetes for 7 years - 2x daily insulin shots and toward the end needed fluid therapy for renal failure - she was such a trooper! She would sit on my lap every morning and evening so I could test her blood glucose levels and NOT A peep out of her - took her shots again like a trooper. And sat thru fluid therapy on my lap and still purring - RIP in peace my baby - 8/20/2014.
