Julius and his friend Pixel (whose feet can be seen at the top of the photo) were refugees from a trailer park in Utah. I fed them, had them neutered, and when we moved several months later I couldn't leave them behind. Juju was diagnosed with diabetes in December of 2007. He's had a few "honeymoons" but has mainly been insulin dependent. Since his diagnosis he's also developed chronic eye issues and is on multiple medications. We adore our high-maintenance, extra sweet boy, and he loves us back!
