Toby came to live in Dallas as a DCIN foster kitty in 2012, at around five years old. He had lived in North Carolina with people who loved him, but he needed to find a new home when his human dad got sick. He lived in two foster homes before flying on a plane to Texas. After a while it was clear he had found his forever home. The only things about Texas he doesn't like are the thunderstorms. He can predict the weather and hides in the hamper when a storm is on the way. Toby loves food, with the exception of broccoli, which he growls and hisses at. His diabetes is controlled with a low-carb canned food diet. He loves company, and is very social with visitors. He enjoys being near older people and likes to sit next to them. Toby's favorite treat is cheese crumbles that he can always convince his "grandma" to give him. His favorite toys are the red dot and milk jug caps. Toby wants everyone to know that extra sweet cats are the best!
