Lebowski (AKA Bowski, AKA The Dude) was a "foster failure", and I'd literally notified his rescuer within 4 hours and told her "he's already home". He is a calm, older boy at 15 years young, and has become more of a cuddler the older he gets. But he is still the alpha among my crew of 3 cats, and won't hesitate to give a bat in the head to the others if they get out of hand! He has learned that all the poking and prodding he gets due to his diabetes is all for the best, and rarely gives me any grief. My vet always comments on how he's so chill when he's there. I just smile and say "Hey, he's THE DUDE!"
