This is Bruno, my sweet traveling companion. He was a living with some feral cats at Fairmont Park, Philadelphia and a friend spot him while running. I assume he was dumped there because he was not like other ferals, he approach people and loved to be pet. So, long story short, we rescue him. That was almost 15 years ago. Since then, we have lived in Philly, D.C., Mexico, Ukraine, and just a couple weeks ago, we moved back to the States and settled in Sacramento, CA.
Almost 2 years ago, he got sick, vet told me he had diabetes and I felt like dying, there are not very good vets in Ukraine so we struggle a lot until I found FDMB, they helped me a lot and I started learning how to treat him, found many other groups and people that were quite supporting while I was learning. Only a week ago, we celebrated his one year OTJ!
Bruno is my life, he was already grown up when I rescued him, so he might be around 17 now, he cannot travel that much anymore but I hope he will be with me for some more years, even he is becoming a grumpy old guy :)
