Once known as Bad Kitty, B.K. was in danger of being euthanized at the age of 9 years when her owners divorced. She was rescued at the eleventh hour by DCIN in October 2012 and flown to her new home in Colorado. When she continued to gain weight and was requiring more insulin, she was tested for acromegaly. In March 2013, she spent a week at the Colorado State University vet hospital receiving life-saving stereotactic radiation therapy to treat her acromegaly. Still a big girl but requiring much less insulin, this smart intuitive girl is a delight to her adoptive mom.
