Keno is 16 year-old diabetic kitty who was owner-surrendered at San Francisco ACC in June 2016. A Facebook friend sent me the link to her post on the DCIN Facebook page and I saw that she was scheduled to be euthanized the next day. I told my husband about Keno and he suggested that we go meet her. We went to ACC and within minutes decided to adopt her.

Keno joined our feline household which includes another diabetic kitty, Eve, (who is also blind) as well as Little Bit, Chex, & Max.

Keno is pictured here with "Flat Sugar". Sugar is our kitty who was diagnosed with mammary cancer in January 2013. She made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge in May 2014, and her legacy is to raise awareness about animal mammary cancer. In 2016, "Flat Sugar" visited all 50 states and 15 countries.
