Riley crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2016 as a result of his diabetes, but not until he spent ten wonderful years leaving paw prints on our hearts. He loved basking in the sun, eating cheddar cheese, chasing the red dot, playing with his cousin... He even loved his vet! Riley also believed very much in helping other cats in need and was always happy to lend a paw. He inspected every can of cat food we donated, and was always happy to send his gently used toys, carriers, and blankets to local shelters. If he ever saw a stray kitty outside, he'd meow by the window until we noticed, insisting that we share some food and water with them -- and call in a rescue, if necessary. Riley is the very reason we have learned to love animals unconditionally. His fur-ever family will continue to love him every minute of everyday and to help other kitties in his memory.
