Beautiful B.K. who was originally called "Bad Kitty" and is now Bella Kitty. She was my first DCIN kitty who was in danger of being killed by her divorcing owners. Bella came to me in October of 2012. Unable to get her regulated as she needed more and more insulin and still gaining weight we discovered that she was an acromegaly kitty. I didn't hesitate to contact CSU and have the SRT treatments done. Now over 5 years later her diabetes is under control but she has other issues including heart problems, kidney and liver issues as well as an enlarged adrenal gland. (Cushings was ruled out.) I hope to have her another 5 years as she is such a great cat, who is so smart and intuitive and feared by my dog.
