Please include a short paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the cat(s) and other animals in the photo. Which cat is diabetic? Is one or more a DCIN rescue? How long have the animals been a part of your family? Give some interesting information about the animal(s) in the photo that will encourage others to vote for your photo.
Here's my very own extra-sweet boy Lucky, seen here with his buddy Squeaker. Lucky was Squeaker's kitten, so they have a very special bond. Lucky was hit by a van when he was a stray kitten and needed to have his tail-tip amputated, giving him a raccoon-like tail. The accident also seems to have left him with permanent brain-damage, and he never has really learned how to "cat" A wonderful good Samaritan rescued him then chose me to be his forever mama. I named him Lucky, because he was a very lucky little guy to have a stranger rescue him and take him to the emergency vet!
He was diagnosed with diabetes in March 2018 - not a surprise, since he subsists on dry food. The best I can buy, but still. Get your kitties on a low-carb, high-protein wet diet, if you can! And vote for my boy! <3
