A little about me...
Hi hoomin! My name is Garfield and I have a story to tell! A long time ago a nice lady adopted me. She did her best to take care of me, but as she got older, she just couldn't continue serving me in the manner I required (I have been told I'm a bit of a diva, whatever that is) and then I got sick with something called diabeetez and she could not afford to treat me. I ended up living in a place called a "shelter" which I really didn't like! My former hoomin might not have been purrfect but she was much better than here! Luckily, one of the ladies that worked there took me home as a "foster" which was 1000% better than the shelter but she didn't have much time for me. I had almost given up since I had heard the shelter workers saying I would be hard to place due to that diabeetez thing but I kept hoping! As Christmas approached (again), I asked Santa Claws for a home of my own and guess what? A new hoomin said she wanted me! She didn't care that I was an older kitty or that I had da diabeetez and when she came to meet me, it was a match made in Heaven! Now I live in a nice little house with a mommy that treats me like the King I am and she has promised me I'll never have to leave again. So all you other shelter kitties out there, just remember, There is a Santa Claws!
