A little about me...
Callie was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, and lived every day of her 15.5 years to their fullest. Diagnosed at age 10 in March, 2020, she adjusted to her new normal with ease while enjoying having her human around 100% of the time. A survivor of DKA in 2023 who later developed IBD and dental issues, she flew through all new diagnosis’s with flying colors, until her journey concluded in September 2025.

Callie absolutely loved watching the squirrels and birds outside, and enjoyed every chance she had to go outside to roll in the grass or chase blowing leaves in the fall. She gave the absolute best snuggles and enjoyed waking her human every morning by licking her nostrils. She was a star soccer ball handler and collector of bird toys. At the end of the day she loved nothing more than to get a long drink from the faucet, snuggle on the couch and make biscuits with her deep, throaty purrs.

In memory of Callie, we hope to raise funds to help other cats just like her, with a very manageable condition, live their lives to the fullest regardless of a diabetes diagnosis.
