Pet’s Story or Bio
Benny is a beagle-mix Diamond Dog. His momma, Holly, was found under an old trailer down in South Carolina. She was at first thought to be aggressive, but volunteers quickly discovered she had been nursing and must’ve left pups behind and was upset over it. An absolute angel crawled under the trailer and uncovered four puppies, including our Benny boy! He very quickly became the light of our lives. When we first adopted him, we read online that he would likely be very fearful and shaky on the first ride home. Not Benny! Benny jumped all over us, hugged us, and licked us like crazy from the very first minute! My husband and I can’t get enough of his contagious smile, playful personality, affectionate demeanor, and adorable puppy snores. Benny’s interests include: the dog park, the beach, family walks, peanut butter treats, squirrels, socks, and endless cuddles. Benny will be one in November and will be celebrating with a dog park birthday party. He is also proud to announce that he will be becoming a big brother to a human sister in January! To us, Benny is perfect... the world’s best dog! 🐶
