I got Shiloh from Diamond Dog Rescue. At the time, I had never heard of this rescue. I’ve followed the rescue since, and I can tell you, this rescue deserves support. They take the pregnant mommas, the scared dogs, the ones with medical issues. They guarantee that dog a home for life, and I have seen that guarantee in action. They keep a trainer on retainer for the most challenging cases. That trainer even offers lifetime behavioral consults to the adoptive family for these cases. Shiloh was pulled from a high kill shelter in North Carolina, whose turnover rate is so high they don’t even bother to vaccinate on intake. He was adopted out once and returned because he showed no interest in playing with their other dog (I can’t even imagine). Smartly, the rescue began looking for a performance home for him, as this is really what he needed. I am very lucky he found me. So, I am asking for your vote for Shiloh.
