Rules

• The minimum donation for submitting a photo to be included in Diamond Dogs Rescue 2024 Pet Calendar is $25 per photo. You may submit as many photographs as you like.
• Online: To submit photos online, follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, October 20, 2023.
• All eligible photos submitted by 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, October 20, 2023 will be included in the 2024 calendar, in the collage pages if not featured or in the reserve a day to honor your pet.
• Donations are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. Diamond Dogs Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

All photos become the property of Diamond Dogs Rescue, Inc. with full rights to publish

• Acceptable photo formats are .jpg and .png.
• Photos may contain one or more pets.
• Photos must:
  • be in color
  • contain only pets (no people)
  • be horizontal (landscape) format unless submitted for the reserve a day to honor your pet placement
• Any image that includes people, or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by Diamond Dogs Rescue, Inc, will be removed from the Photo Fundraiser.
• Photographs may not be edited or altered (other than minor color, contrast, or sharpness adjustments).
• Photographs must either feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet's owner to submit their pet's image.

• Diamond Dogs Rescue, Inc will give consideration to all submissions for monthly locations in the calendar: As determined by votes, 13 photos will be selected as full-month pages. All other eligible photo submissions will be included in the collage pages unless submitted under the reserve a day to honor your pet feature.
• Participants selected as a full-page month winner will be notified and asked to provide a high resolution version of their photo, as well as a short biography of their pet, via email.

You can win as the full month page photo by having friends and family vote for your pet's photo. The recipient of the most votes will be eligible to have their pet featured on a full month page (specific rules apply).

• Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery on Diamond Dogs Rescue, Inc website, and be open to voting by the general public. Votes are $1 each, with a minimum $5 donation for five votes.
• All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.
• To vote online, click on the Participate tab. The online voting period will end at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, October 20, 2023. Donate a minimum of $5 for five votes. Those votes can then be cast for any submitted photo in one-vote increments. Voters do not have to use all of the votes at the time of donation. When voters donate, they will be given the option of applying all of the votes to one photo, spreading their votes over various photos, or storing votes in their account. If a voter chooses to store the votes, voter can log in to their account using their ID and password and vote at a later time. All votes must be applied to selected photos by the conclusion of the voting period to be counted.
• Ending time for the Photo Fundraiser will be determined by the host website's server, which will show prominently on the Photo Fundraiser website as a countdown clock on the last day of the fundraiser.
• The photograph with the most votes (donations) at the end of the submission period will win the voting portion of the Photo Fundraiser.
• All votes are donations to Diamond Dogs Rescue, Inc. and are fully tax- deductible as permitted by law.

The top participant will be featured on the cover, will receive twelve free calendars and a $200 Amazon gift certificate

The next 12 participants to receive the most votes when the voting period ends will be featured as a full month page photo and will receive six free calendars

Balance of all participants will be included in the calendar pages.

All participants to achieve 200 votes or more that have not won featured placement for their photo entry will receive three free calendars

Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.


Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day requires a $20 donation. Reserving a day does not enter that photo in the contest. However, you may use the same photo in both the contest and to reserve a day. Photos of people are not allowed in the donate-to-vote contest, but are allowed in the reserve a day photos.

IN MEMORY OF- if you would like to have a special memory placement for pets you have lost you can leave the date open or select a date. Cost for the in memoriam is also $20
