Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Recess from the Humane Society in March of 2003. She was the most loving, perceptive, playful, intelligent, and kind dog either of us had ever owned. She had Houdini-like skills for getting what she wanted. Chips inside a backpack? No problem. Granola bar on the counter? Ha! Not anymore! Dog treat in the pocket of a jacket hanging on the hook? Just chew right through the jacket. She was particular and yet, kind and understanding. Her eyes said all you needed to know. Until the very end, she never wanted to show she had any pain. She passed away in May of 2018. Our hearts still ache with the loss. She taught us how true love and devotion can change lives, and for that we will be forever grateful to, and for, her life.
