Story or Bio
Gunny came into our life from the local animal services. He was 35 pounds under weight when we brought him home March 23, 2016. He was the sweetest most gentle boy. His only issues were he was scared of the dark, which nightlights throughout the house eased his worry and thunder. He was the best cuddler and watched out for myself and his 4legged brothers. He had the best dobie smile and loved to give kisses. He loved to romp and play with his dobie brother Patton, and cuddle with Jake his weimie brother. He also loved chasing butterflies and birds. He was the best kitchen helper and loved the mixer and blender. He enjoyed being vacuumed (he was on thyroid medications and shed a lot til we got his numbers in check). He also would not eat until his brothers were fed.

On September 19, 2017 he woke and could barely move. We rushed him to the doctor where an X-ray exposed the truth. He had a silent Hemangiosarcoma on his spleen and it had ruptured. He had no symptoms and played all night the night before like normal. He cuddled as normal and went to bed as normal. He was everyone’s best friend in the house.
