This is Zeke, enjoying his retirement at Moab, UT. Zeke is a pedigree dog who, thru an unfortunate series of events, ended up at a puppy mill south of Albuquerque. Animal control shut the puppy mill down due to animal cruelty. When Zeke was turned over the DRNM Sandra Knight took him in and nursed him back to health. She provided an amazing amount of love and care for this gentle giant. Zeke seemed to touch every person he met in a profound way, a way that I cannot describe in words.

I was lucky enough to take care of Zeke for about 3 years. We went on so many adventures together, I miss him dearly. Zeke crossed the rainbow bridge November of 2015, but he has left a profound and lasting mark on me.
