Story or Bio
Kato was surrendered by his previous owners who had neglected him and had him chained to a tree. We were lucky enough to be blessed with becoming his new owners. He was severely underweight and had a hard time getting around and had sores from lying in the same area all the time. Once I looked into his eyes, my heart melted and I knew that we could give him a good and happy place to live the rest of his life. I begged my husband to let us take him in and he was hesitant because kato was a neglected Doberman and might not be a good mix with our grandkids. I think this picture dispels that myth. Kato gained weight and had an acre that was his and he wasn't chained up and he was spoiled by us and our family. Kato brought so much joy and laughter and sweetness to our home. He passed away in July and he is missed by everyone who's life he touched. I'm crying right now just thinking about the goofy and lovable dog we renamed kato.
