About Us

This year is our 23rd Annual Dog Days of Denton event. Ours is the original festival for pooches and their people. We are a 501 C (3) organization dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership and the importance of pet rescue in an entertaining outdoor format that remains free and open to the public. Arts, crafts, canine talent, educational demonstrations on topics such as canine CPR and fun contests all come together to make up one of Denton's favorite annual events. Dog Days also enables pet-related nonprofits to raise awareness of their organization while raising much needed funds. Dog Days of Denton is a 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to educating and entertaining the public.
