Goosebumps was 3 hours away from euthanasia at a high kill shelter in Texas. She had been someone's emotional support companion, and was abandoned by the one person she knew as home. Sometime last year she was given a second chance at life when a rescue found her and set her up with a foster where she lived for 8 months. Nobody wanted her, despite being the most patient, quiet, and gentle, pup to ever roam the earth. Eventually she was loaded onto a trailer with 30 other dogs where they spent 3 days driving to Canada for the hope that she would finally find her forever family here. We signed up to foster to give her some stability and provide a safe environment for her to flourish. The moment we laid eyes on her we knew what a diamond we had. She came home, and here she'll stay.
