Meet HUDSON — my ESD
Hudson is not just a pet; he’s my trained Emotional Support Dog from paws4people. He performs nightmare interruption, gently waking me before fear takes over, and uses deep pressure therapy to help calm my anxiety so I can finally rest. While ESDs don’t need to perform tasks, he chooses to do so each night.
But HUDSON isn’t all work — he brings joy to everyone he meets. He has a goofy charm that makes everyone laugh the moment he walks in, and he absolutely loves being on elevated surfaces, proudly perching anywhere he can climb for a better view.
Because of HUDSON, I sleep better, breathe easier, and feel safe. He’s carried me through my hardest moments and truly saved my life.
HUDSON isn’t just my dog:
he’s my comfort, my comic relief, and my very best friend.
