I should be the Dog of the Year because…
I'm not your typical golden retriever. I'm HONEY, a paws4people emotional support dog who brings comfort, laughter, and a whole lot of sunshine to my person, Mollie (and, of course, my bonus parent, Tony). I am widely known for my hilarious quirks, especially the way I pounce on my little front feet when something makes me excited. I also have a huge love of carrying things. Keys, packages, shoes... if it fits in my mouth, I will proudly deliver it. However, my true purpose extends far beyond being silly. I help Mollie feel grounded and supported every single day, and during the tougher moments, I am a calm and familiar presence that helps her reset and feel okay again. I may just be one dog, but I make everyone's day brighter with just one tail wag, pounce, or special delivery. I would make the BEST Dog of the Year!
