Here’s Waldo!
What a welcome relief to read the email from Sena at DBL in November of 2021 saying “Diana, we believe we have a match for you!” It was a bittersweet time…
I’d been very sad over the loss of my first Hearing Dog, Jimmy, who died in May of that year. I had come to rely on his assistance so much it was like becoming deaf all over again!
At first I thought it was too soon. I was still grieving Jim, but decided to go forward with the new dog.
What a blessing Waldo is! He’s been my right-hand man from the first day! He’s also provided the comfort to let Jim rest in my heart and mind and move on with the future.
This is the very first picture of Waldo I took the night he arrived.
