I adopted Maya from a shelter in Isla Mujeres an island off of Cancun. It was love at first sight and I knew I needed her in my life. So a week after my vacation I was driving to Chicago to pick up the missing piece of my life I had been looking for. Just one look at her beautiful brown eyes everyone is done. She is such a sweet girl and loving addition to our family. She is definitely loved and given a better life than she would have had if the shelter would not have found her and brought her in. She has forever changed me.
