Meet Dahlia, my sweet angel dog. I adopted her from Indianapolis Animal Care Services. She was found as a stray with BB-gun scars from her past. A friend shared her “Doggie Day Out” photos, and one look told me we belonged together.

Since the summer of 2022, Dahlia has filled our days with smiles, love, and fun. She’s my loyal sidekick, my attentive listener (mostly!), and the best cuddle buddy. She and my tabby cat, Rocky, were friends from the start and play very nicely. Every night we all curl up together to sleep and keep each other warm. Dahlia loves dressing up in cute clothes and has a beautiful, colorful, glowing necklace she loves wearing. She’s equal parts couch lounger and adventure buddy—always ready for hikes, camping, kayaking, and even music festivals. She takes her role of being cute, greeting guests, and announcing deliveries very seriously!
